She has a lot of education in maths (M.Sc., B.Sc., B.Ed.) and has been to temples for more than 10 years. She uses research, personal stories, and narrative to make South Indian temples more accessible to readers and travellers.
J. Kamatchi has been a lot over India and knows a lot about both well-known and obscure Hindu temples. She writes in both Tamil and English to give devotees information and ideas. In addition to her writing, she maintains the YouTube channel Life is Unpredictable, where she offers her thoughts, experiences, and poems that connect with people on a personal level.
